Japanese Money

For example one yen is Ichien. The coins in Japanese money come in 1 Yen, 5 Yen, 10 Yen, 50 Yen, 100 Yen and 500 Yen. The 1 Yen, 10 Yen, 50 Yen and 100 Yen coins have the english number on them so even if you cannot read Japanese, they can be recognised. The five yen coin doesn't have the roman number five on it but it has a whole in it so it can be recognised that way! There are only three notes in Japanese money for 1000 Yen, 5000 Yen and 10,000 Yen. The word for note or bill is Satsu. To say 1000 Yen Bill, you add satsu to the end of the amount. so it is Senensatsu.
